Well
folks, it's finally here. Amo's highly anticipated sophomore
release, "east to west and back again" captures
a more mature guitar driven rock sound complementing the
power of Amo’s voice, yet still exposing the intimacy
of his lyrics. The album is a 10 song collection produced
by Brian Hardgrove, (Public Enemy, Chuck D, Fine Arts Militia)
and mixed by a Rod Hui (Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Tyler, Mary
J. Blige). The album was recorded at Manhattan Center Studios
with guitarist Oz Noy (Tony Braxton, Gavin Degraw, Chris
Botti, Harry Belafonte), bassist Chulo Gatewood (Maxwell, Jennifer Holiday, Dianne Reeves)and Dido band members; Alex Alexander on drums
and John Delly on keyboards. The record was mastered at
Sterling Sound, NYC by Chris Gehringer (Christina Aguilera,
Tom Jones, Jewel, 50 Cent).
